Staycation Tip - Fun family games

 Break out the games

Board games with pieces and trinkets are always fun for the family, and other strategic games like Chess and Risk can be a teaser on the brain. Anything that gets everyone interacting and using their brain is good.

Staycation Idea - Slip and Slide

Not everyone lives near a towering park of waterslides, and not everyone owns a swimming pool or lives near a lake. There is still hope for these people and their families, with the one and only Slip-and-Slide. If you can’t buy one in a store, find a long piece of rubbery, slippery fabric that you can stretch across your yard. Use a hose to generate some water flow and see who can get the fastest slide!

Staycation Idea - Backyard Sports

Backyard Sports
Some backyards can’t host the true American sports like football and baseball, but there are sports more attuned to the backyard space. Games involving rackets and nets can be great additions to the backyard, staycation experience. The more people you can get over the house the merrier. Forget about your life for a while as you delve into a rousing game of badminton or volleyball.
